These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the YummyYou website and the purchase of our food, cakes, pastries, drinks, event meals, bulk meals and related services.
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.

You agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
-
Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the website
-
Submit false or misleading information
-
Use the website in a way that could damage YummyYou or other users
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business or other users.
3. Products and Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information displayed on the website are accurate.
However:
-
Product photographs are for illustration and may not exactly represent the final product.
-
Colours, decorations, presentation and appearance may vary.
-
Ingredients, availability and presentation may change where reasonably necessary.
-
Some products may be subject to availability.
For custom cakes and other made-to-order products, the final appearance may vary from reference images or examples supplied by the customer.
Any agreed custom specifications will form part of the order.
4. Allergens and Food Information
YummyYou provides allergen information for relevant food products.
Customers are responsible for reviewing available allergen information before placing an order and contacting YummyYou if they require clarification.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease, please contact us before placing your order.
Although we take reasonable precautions when preparing food, we cannot guarantee that products are completely free from allergens because different ingredients and products may be prepared in the same environment.
We may be unable to accept certain orders where we cannot safely meet a customer’s allergen requirements.
5. Placing an Order
When placing an order, you must provide accurate and complete information.
This may include:
-
Your name
-
Email address
-
Telephone number
-
Billing information
-
Delivery address, where applicable
-
Collection details, where applicable
-
Event information
-
Product selections
-
Customisation or special requirements
Please check your order carefully before completing payment.
Once an order has been submitted, changes may not always be possible, particularly for food, custom cakes and other made-to-order products.
6. Order Acceptance
Submitting an order through the website does not automatically guarantee that YummyYou will be able to fulfil the order.
An order is accepted when YummyYou confirms acceptance of the order or begins processing it.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
A product is unavailable
-
There is an obvious pricing or product description error
-
We cannot fulfil the requested delivery or collection arrangement
-
We identify a payment or security issue
-
The requested product cannot safely or reasonably be prepared
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
7. Prices
All prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change from time to time. However, the price applicable to your order will normally be the price displayed when you complete the purchase.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors.
Where a product is displayed at an obviously incorrect price, we may contact you before fulfilling the order or cancel the affected order and refund any payment made.
8. Event Meal Pricing
Some YummyYou event meals may have two different prices:
Pre-order price: the price available when the meal is ordered and paid for in advance of the relevant event.
Event-day price: the price applicable to orders made from the event day onwards.
The applicable price will be the price clearly displayed at the time the order is placed.
Once an event meal has been purchased at the applicable price, the customer will not normally be charged the difference between the pre-order and event-day price.
9. Event Meal Pre-Orders
Where YummyYou offers event meal pre-ordering, customers can select and pay for meals in advance for collection or distribution at the relevant event.
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct event, meal options and quantities.
Event meal orders may be subject to a deadline communicated on the relevant event or ordering page.
After the stated pre-order deadline, pre-order prices or meal selections may no longer be available.
Event-day orders may be subject to different pricing and availability.
10. Bulk Meal Orders
YummyYou may offer bulk meal ordering for customers who wish to purchase larger quantities of food for events, gatherings or other occasions.
Bulk meal orders are prepared according to the quantity and requirements selected by the customer.
Customers should review quantities, collection/delivery arrangements and any stated ordering deadlines before completing payment.
Changes or cancellations may not be possible once preparation has started.
11. Custom Cakes
Custom cakes are made according to the customer’s requirements.
When ordering a custom cake, customers may be asked to provide information such as:
-
Cake size
-
Flavour
-
Design
-
Colour
-
Decorations
-
Message or inscription
-
Reference images
-
Collection or delivery date
Reference images supplied by customers are used as inspiration. YummyYou will make reasonable efforts to follow the agreed design, but an exact reproduction cannot always be guaranteed.
Custom cake orders may require additional communication before the final order is confirmed.
Once preparation or production has started, changes may not be possible.
12. Catering and Event Enquiries
Certain YummyYou catering services are quotation-based rather than standard online purchases.
A catering enquiry or request for a quote does not constitute a confirmed booking.
A catering booking is only confirmed once YummyYou has agreed the relevant details, price and booking arrangements with the customer.
Additional terms, deposits or payment arrangements may apply to individual catering bookings.
13. Payment
Payment must be completed using the payment methods made available on the website unless otherwise agreed with YummyYou.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
YummyYou does not normally store customers’ complete payment card details.
An order may not be processed until payment has been successfully authorised or received.
14. Delivery
Where delivery is available, delivery charges, areas and estimated delivery times will be displayed or communicated before the order is completed.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and contact information.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the agreed or stated delivery period.
Delivery times may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, severe weather, courier delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
If you are unavailable to receive your order, additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply where reasonably incurred.
15. Collection Orders
Where an order is available for collection, the customer is responsible for collecting it at the agreed date and time.
Customers should provide accurate contact details and follow any collection instructions provided by YummyYou.
Food and cakes should be handled and stored appropriately after collection.
16. Food Safety and Storage
Customers are responsible for following any storage, handling, reheating or consumption instructions provided with their order.
Perishable products should be stored appropriately and consumed within the recommended period.
YummyYou cannot accept responsibility for food that becomes unsafe or unsuitable because it has been improperly stored, handled or transported by the customer after delivery or collection.
17. Cancellations
Cancellation rights depend on the type of product or service purchased.
Because YummyYou sells perishable food and products made specifically to customer requirements, certain statutory cancellation rights that apply to ordinary goods may not apply.
This may include freshly prepared food, perishable products and certain custom or personalised products.
Customers who wish to cancel should contact YummyYou as soon as possible.
Cancellation may not be possible once preparation or production has started.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits any legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Refunds and Returns
Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how we handle refunds, returns, damaged products, incorrect orders and cancellations.
Customers can find the Refund and Returns Policy on the YummyYou website.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any rights the customer has under applicable consumer protection law.
19. Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If an order is incorrect, damaged, unsafe or does not match what was agreed, please contact YummyYou as soon as possible.
We may request photographs, order details or other information to help us investigate the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, we may provide a replacement, refund, correction or another appropriate remedy.
20. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
21. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on the YummyYou website, including text, logos, photographs, graphics, designs and other materials, belongs to YummyYou or is used with permission.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use website content without permission.
22. Customer Content
If you submit photographs, designs, messages or other content to YummyYou for the purpose of fulfilling an order, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
You remain responsible for ensuring that submitted content does not infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
23. Third-Party Services
The website may use third-party services including payment processors, delivery services, hosting providers, analytics services and other technology providers.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
YummyYou is not responsible for the independent operation or policies of third-party services.
24. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
This includes liability for matters such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, YummyYou will not be responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the contract was formed or for circumstances outside our reasonable control.
25. Events Outside Our Control
YummyYou will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include:
